Meanwhile, reports in Spain have it that the former Manchester United star has been charged to court over the allegations despite Ronaldo dismissing the charges levied against him, saying: ‘I have a clear conscience.’
Real Madrid have also come out to back their star man over the allegations, saying they have ‘full confidence’ in the player amid the charges.
The Spanish prosecutor’s office is charging Ronaldo of using a ‘business structure’ to evade tax on his image rights between 2011 and 2014.
